The National State TV and Radio Company (TVR) is the state television and radio broadcasting service in the Eastern European nation of Belarus. TVR currently owns three national television stations (TV-First, LAD, Belarus-TV), five national radio stations, and several local and regional stations. The broadcasts are featured in the Belarusian language and in the Russian language. On January 1, 1993, it was admitted as a full active member of the European Broadcasting Union under the name Belaruskaja Tele-Radio Campanjia (BTRC).
